Prevalence of Adult Body-Mass Index: BMI Compare

on Mon, 04/11/2016 - 02:20

Some colleagues have requested a tool that allows them to compare the trends of age-standardized prelavalence of adult body-mass index (BMI) in a selected country against a selected region, and the world. After some editions to the small-multiple visualization showing four decades of BMI categories, I created this new one trying to satisfy those requests.

Take a look at the visualization, play with it, try to select you country, and a region and find your own insight and story. Is it useful? Let me know what you think in a comment below, or let's talk on Twitter @HlthAnalysis
