Data Preparation for Assessing the Trends of Premature Mortality from Noncommunicable Diseases

on Thu, 10/15/2015 - 02:05

I participated in the webinar Tableau Zen Masters - Preparing Your Data For The Tableau Conference 2015 on October 13th, 2015 organized by Alteryx. Thank you so much Brian Dirking for organizing the webinar and inviting me to share some experiences.

It was also a privilege for me to joint two impressive professionals and Tableau Zen Masters Joe Mako, Director of Visual Analytics, Rosenblatt Securities, and Craig Bloodworth, CTO of The Information Lab as panelists.

The webinar was devoted to show how to prepare data for analysis and visualization highlighting some methods, use cases and case studies. The panel was followed by a discussion featuring questions from the audience, and an opportunity to keep the conversation about this topic on Twitter using the hashtag #ZenDataPrep.

I talked about how data is being prepared for assessing the level and trends of premature mortality from noncommunicable diseases. See below the slide deck I used during my talk.

I hope you enjoy the topic and methods presented in the webinar. Ask your questions and keep the conversation on how to preparae data for analysis and visualization on Twitter using #ZenDataPrep.
